day in the life: home

This shoot was slightly different for me. We were trying to create "real" images of Kate and her children with no effort put into the perfect outfit, perfect hair or perfect location. When I showed up at her house they were all still in their pajamas, toys were all over the floor in their play room and her children's beds were unmade. So, this is what we captured. Kate wanted images that truly captured her life as a mother of three small children. As a mother myself, I would love to have images like these when my children have all grown up and I am no longer the center of their little worlds.
